I feel the need to apologize for a few things. One is the random emails you receive when visiting my site. If you visit my Facebook and you receive a message, please feel free to ignore it. This is not from me; it is from Facebook. I actually do not receive notice that this message has been sent out, so you can absolutely ignore it. I am so sorry for the spam. I know it's annoying.
The other is, if you message me and I am slow to respond, I apologize; please feel free to message me again. With the new update, I am being spammed like crazy, and it is getting hard to find the real messages in between the 10+ fake ones I am getting at the moment. Hopefully, in time, this will slow, but until then, I am working hard to w**d out the fake ones and get to real clients.

If there's one phrase that photographers hear way too often it's "it's a perfect day for photos". The scene is always the same. The sun is high and bright. But the truth is most photographers hate sun. In fact we hide from it. We almost hate it as much as rain. So imagine my surprise when the sun peaked out just as the rain started. I might have been unlucky with the weather but these two are nothing short of blessed to have found each other.

I absolutely love my job. But if I'm being honest when I'm doing 6-9 sessions a week August-November it can get a little mentally exhausting. So if you see me out and about shooting photos of my lifelong best friends dressed up as ghosts just know it's just me trying to respark that creative energy that gets drained during the busy season.

I really think these October babies are just built differently lol. They can be mad their entire session but the crazy masks come out and they are thrilled.

And just like that senior season is over! At the end of the week senior photos are due for the majority of the High Schools in our area.

To tell you I am excited to share these photos is an understatement. Michelle is no client she has become family over the past 9 years. I have watched her celebrate some of the some of the best events and some of the worst events in her life. Watching her walk down the aisle to someone as amazing as Matt yesterday will be something I never forget. She deserves nothing but the best and I truly believe that Matt is just that for her. Congratulations Mr and Mrs. Jacobs. Yesterday was nothing short of a fairy tale, rain, sun, rainbow and all.

Feeling so behind on editing. Anyone else loose power this weekend? We lost it a total of 4 times. I took the 2 time as a sign to turn off the computer and play some card games with my kiddos. Lot's of editing from last week to catch up on though.
