✨ Did You Know? ✨

Many of the backdrops and cutout props you see at Grace Nicole Designs don’t come out of a box… they’re built from scratch right here at home by yours truly. 🎨🛠️

What starts as a sheet of wood, foam board, corrugated plastic, paint, vinyl, and a Pinterest-inspired idea somehow turns into the custom backdrops you see at birthdays, baby showers, weddings, and corporate events.

Creating custom pieces takes more time and effort, but it’s one of the things that allows me to offer a more personalized experience and create designs that feel unique to each client and event. 🤍

Many of my wooden backdrops are also completely repainted between events so they perfectly match each client’s theme and color palette. No two celebrations are exactly alike, and I love being able to customize every detail to bring each vision to life. ✨

And if you ask my husband, the backdrops have officially taken over our garage. 😆 At this point, he’s convinced we need a storage unit. But don’t worry, I still squeeze the Bronco in there. 🙌🏼

Looking back at all of these creations reminds me how much this little business has grown. Every backdrop represents a client who trusted me with a special moment, and I’ll never stop being grateful for that. 🥹

✨ What a weekend! ✨

This weekend was packed with installs, sunshine, and a whole lot of balloons. ☀️🎈

🤍 An elegant setup for Alamance Country Club’s All White Party
🎓 A graduation celebration for the sweetest family
🥳 And a surprise 50th birthday celebration

The heat was definitely doing its best to test me this weekend (North Carolina summer is no joke 😅), but seeing my clients smile and watching their visions come to life makes every early morning, late night, and sweaty setup completely worth it.

I’m so thankful for every family, business, and client who trusts Grace Nicole Designs to be a small part of their special moments. It never gets old seeing a blank space transformed into something beautiful. 🥹

Thank you all for keeping me busy and allowing me to do what I love. 💕

Now excuse me while I catch up on laundry, answer messages, and recover from carrying approximately 4,372 balloons this weekend. 😂

🍯 Sweet as can bee! 🐝

We had so much fun bringing this classic Winnie the Pooh baby shower to life this weekend. From the soft pinks and yellows to the sweetest little bee details, every piece came together perfectly for a precious mama-to-be. 💕

Still not over how beautiful this wedding was. 🤍

This one was extra special because I wasn’t just there as a vendor… I got to watch my sister-in-law marry the love of her life while also getting to play a tiny part in helping bring her vision to life. 🥹

From the stunning details, to the sweetest couple, to one of the most beautiful venues I’ve ever stepped foot in… every single part of the day was absolute perfection.

And getting to debut my brand new all white flower wall for such a special wedding made it even more meaningful. ✨

So thankful to have been trusted with creating a little magic for their day. Congratulations again Libby & Brock! We love you both so much! 🤍

It was a BUSY weekend for grad parties 👩‍🎓✨

One setup featured of courseeee my favvv color palette… all the bright pinks & oranges 🩷🧡🤩 and another was a stunning all pearly white setup with the client providing the backdrop! The graduate and her friends did their own lettering and absolutely KILLED it 🥹👏🏼

We were definitely fighting the wind this weekend 🌬️😂 but we made it happen! Mother Nature can’t keep us down 🙌🏼

I love getting to help bring everyone’s vision to life in different ways, whether it’s full custom installs or adding the balloons to finish everything off perfectly 🤍

I swear moms and mother-in-laws are the TWO hardest people to shop for 😅🤍
Like… what do you get the women who deserve the world and usually just buy what they want themselves?

This year I wanted to give them something a little more personal and meaningful and something they could use daily. ✨

I asked them both for their favorite Bible verse (without telling them why 🤭) and hand-painted each Bible around the scripture they chose.
Every flower, color, and detail was picked with them in mind and I love how different they both turned out 🤍

These may be one of my favorite things I’ve ever made 🥹
