Have you tried one of our breakfast burritos?

We searched for a little history about where these originated...

One commonly told story is that the breakfast burrito was invented by the late burrito chain "Taco Villa" in Lubbock, Texas, in the 1970s. But other sources point to it starting in areas of New Mexico. The combination of Mexican and American breakfast ingredients (like eggs and bacon) in a tortilla reflected the blending of cultures in the American Southwest. From there, it spread rapidly and became a breakfast favorite across the U.S. (including up here in Butte, Montana!)
