Today, our team had a special surprise!

Napoleon (Jon Heder) & Uncle Rico (Jon Gries) enjoyed lunch with us. โค๏ธ

They were in town celebrating 20 years of Napoleon Dynamite at the Mother Lode Theatre in Uptown Butte.

Both were super kind and shared their appreciation for Butte and the history here. Very cool people! We're grateful they took a photo with us. ๐Ÿ˜Š

2024 was a huge year for us and we are truly blessed to be part of one of the best communities in the world! ๐Ÿฅฐ

We are thankful for the rockstar team we have - many who have been with us since opening day - and we look forward to continuing serving Butte in the new year! Thank you for all of your support! โค๏ธ

Did you know that the day after Christmas - December 26 - is called Boxing Day? If you've noticed that day on your calendar and wondered what it was, here's a little history.

Boxing Day got its name from a UK tradition (started MANY, many years ago) where the wealthy would give boxes of gifts, money, or food to their servants and tradespeople the day after Christmas. It was a way to thank them for their hard work throughout the year. The "box" referred to a container used to present these gifts.

Over time, the holiday evolved into a day of shopping and sports in some countries, but its roots remain tied to the spirit of giving.

It is also a day spent with family and friends and relaxing. What better way to do that than over a nice meal!

We'll take care of you here at The Copper Plate - located at 22 W Galena, next to the Richest Hill Casino and Lounge in Uptown Butte.
