TOMORROW WEDDING VENDORS and COUPLES I’ve had a few of you reach to me about tomorrow. It’s gonna be tricky for sure. Here’s my advice.
#1. Breathe. - You can’t control the weather you can only be proactive in your approach to your clients and vendors.
#2. Adjust and shorten your timeline. - Move your wedding to the morning to still make it happen and allow everyone to be in a safe place.
#3. Move the wedding to Sunday (3/16/25) - Most venues should be open tomorrow considering it is just starting wedding season. If you don’t have a venue and want to relocate, I can help you out (In addition to owning Creative Entertainment, I also manage a venue as well. We are open tomorrow for a wedding if need be)
#4. Read your contracts - Most professionals have clauses in their contracts that they do not provide services if unsafe conditions occur. Most professionals are also willing to work with you on a new date as well and not charge anything extra to you.
#5. Your life and others lives are more important than your wedding. I know it’s a once in a lifetime occurrence (most of the time), but just know that tornados are real. I’ve been in one myself. They destroy everything in its path. It happens so quickly you don’t what will have happened. As much as it is YOUR day, you also have to remember you want you and your guests to live past tomorrow.
I’m not here to debate anyone just telling you my thoughts from being 15 years in this industry. Hope this helps a lot of you. Praying everyone stays safe!
