Don’t underestimate the power of personals and fine details!
Personals may be small in scale, but hold their own weight. It’s what gives your event that added finesse and refinement; dotting your I’s and crossing your t’s!
They set the tone as they are usually the first thing we get to oooh and aaah over, especially when the bride and bouquet have their “first look”!
They provide further customization, incorporating a family memento or themed event element. And vow books or even vow cards from your stationer provide a much more polished look when at the altar compared to reading from your phone or folded up 8.5x11!

If I could, I would share the entire gallery from this event! Commending myself for showing some restraint, but our team really took things to another level! So bear with me as I start off the bragging posts with views of our ceremony.

Can’t ever go wrong with the ocean as your backdrop, but then you mix in an elevated mirrored aisle, acrylic chairs and this amazingly organic and lush aisle of florals and it all marries so so nicely - pun intended!

Won’t gush on the amazing team a second time even though they are really worthy of more praise. But just as much love props for the bday girl’s family! Definitely different vibes from the wedding when we had “Bruno 🕺🏻” show up! But always love celebrating special life moments with you!
And can’t thank enough for being the best right-hand, left-hand, full body support!

Feel like I’m giving an award’s acceptance speech, but want to give a big shout out to all the creatives behind this event!
The delicate and tastefully arranged florals that frame and accent the space by . , the magician, master of making plywood and pieces into works of art!
, I bow down – you elevate everything from simple stationery to designing mini worlds… will release you back into semi-retirement mode!
Rice cakes from that were not only perfect for our display, but ever since, I continue to spend so much $$ satisfying my younger “rice cake monster” kid’s cravings for her favorite dduk! Table props from , beautifully packaging Korean culture and tradition! not only makes cakes I wish I could freeze and eat every morning, but once she drops off her cake, she will not leave until she knows she has helped in EVERY capacity!
Not pictured here, but is hands down the best kids balloon and face painter I know. Granted no one is really re-inventing the wheel on kids entertainment, but there is a big difference with quality and she is QUALITY! Not to forget who is the eye behind the lens capturing all of this wonderfulness and of course our venue host at . Such a cute space to host intimate celebrations! Bravo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

So thankful to have spent the year preparing and planning with this wonderful couple, but bittersweet when their day came… Beyond happy to celebrate them, but sad to the end of constant emails and texts and meet up sessions! Pretty much have that cycle on repeat with so many of our couples. It’s almost masochistic!
But know many of us planners also get the joy of building lasting relationships and friendships, so thankfully it’s not always THE END. Rachel here will forever be my skincare buddy and I’m determined to coordinate a Korea trip with her so we can hit up all her skincare gurus and her flawless skin can be my reality too 💆🏻‍♀️!

An anticipatory, but somewhat stressful moment cuz you’ve only got one shot and you hope it looks as cool as you imagined… then relief, cuz it looks even more cool and the bride and groom have happy grins on their faces and everyone around is cheering as champagne is cascading down and our photographers captured this wonderfully awesome action shot for us to re-experience the moment again!

I wish Instagram would not crop portrait pics. Feel like there are always ceiling or ground details you end up compromising, and in this case it’s both! Loved the delicate chandelier treatment from and how perfect our chairs from Town and Country Event Rentals] complemented the reception tables. At least this pic gives you a glimpse of both, if not its entirety. You also have to give Bel-Air Bay Club Events] credit for having nice, neutral carpeting that isn’t giving your décor team hives!

Our bride, Rachel, didn’t care much for matchy matchy. Instead, gave her girls some loose guidelines, but otherwise said “you choose”! Love how different each dress is, yet still so cohesive and harmonious when they come together! Just like these ladies that are from all walks of Rachel’s life, not to mention from different parts of the world, but all supporting her in the best way!

May sound harsh, but I’m convinced I have a hate hate relationship with social media… if you already can’t tell from my last post being nearly 10 months ago haha. But recent post from NARDIA & DAN NILES]]] hit home, and while I have frequent trial separations from IG, I do have a love LOVE relationship with my clients and vendors and realize this is my platform to showcase how wonderful they all are! And that is something I can totally get behind.

So time to come out of hibernation and show off the unquestionable talents of amazing vendors and clients that become forever friends and keep me still loving this job. Who would’ve thought a few hours after this, there would be a huge downpour of 🌧!
Lovely day for a bridal shower for a few weeks ago in her aunt’s home with the most amazing views. And can’t wait to celebrate the wedding we’ve been waiting for, for over two years this weekend!

Random fact, I’ve been doing events for nearly twenty years (that’s actually a crazy fact too!), but in all my years I’ve never been rained out minus two, one being all indoors and the other ceremony was inside so it just affected our cocktail hour. Every other scare I think it always managed to clear up right before! Thank goodness I’m not superstitious… no knocking 🤣

This one started the season for us. Despite a number of uncertainties, the event PREVAILED and we experienced weekend celebration with an awesome couple! From a home cooked kebab rehearsal bbq by the bride’s family to gorgeous mountain views and the most heartwarming speeches… this one was really special!
