We (Carol and Sandy) are sisters that have done photography for 40+ years. Photography runs in our family as our great uncle, then our uncle, then our cousin, owned a photography studio for ... well, close to 75 years, grand total! We have done wedding photos not only locally but in Sweden, Ukraine, South Carolina, Puerto Rico and other great locations! We do:

Artistic Photography, People, Misc. For weddings: We start all pictures three hours before the start of the ceremony. Most group pictures will be done at this time.

We will photograph the whole wedding, reception and the beginning of the dance as long as the dance immediately follows the reception. If there is more than one hour between the wedding and reception, and/or reception and dance, special arrangements must be made in advance. We will have proofs ready within three weeks after the wedding. At that time we will give you a large number of proofs and all the rest of the pictures on CD/DVD and a copyright notice allowing you to duplicate/enlarge any and all pictures. Some of these pictures will be edited. Because we take so many photographs (literally hundreds), we edit only what we consider a sampling. If, after you get your CDs, you find a picture you would like edited (that has not already been done), contact us and we will edit. The wedding package includes engagement pictures done locally if you choose to have them taken. Please Note: Syster’s Photography has a strict policy to take bride and groom pictures before the ceremony. Keep this in mind if you want to have a traditional approach on not seeing each other until the ceremony. Pricing: $1,500. This includes:
* up to eight hours of our time the day of the wedding for local weddings, including drive time (unless special arrangements have been made in advance). $100 non-refundable deposit due within one month after booking the event with the balance due one week before the wedding.
* One consultation with bride and groom – if needed and wanted.
* Two photographers for up to eight hours for local weddings, including drive time (unless special arrangements have been made in advance). We will photograph from getting ready to the beginning of the dance unless there is a very long lapse of time between the wedding and reception or reception and dance. Remember – weddings get to be an all day ordeal so please don’t forget about us and our appetite at the reception! If the wedding is outside of 40 miles from Cambridge, Minnesota, an extra charge of $0.50 per mile (outside of the 40 miles) will be applied. Editing of a select group of photos and a DVD with all of the pictures and a copyright release for you to print what you want, within three weeks of the wedding. For family/senior/group/children/baby photos - generally the cost is $200.00. Prices can vary based on the location of the photos, size of the groups, etc.
