Join Marshall from Paw Patrol at the Downtown Waynesville Association's Stars and Stripes Celebration on July 4th, 2023 in front of the Haywood County Courthouse!!

Marshall will be there from 10am-12pm and is excited to meet everyone and see everyone from last year!

Parade starts at 11am with a FREE ice cream social after, don't miss it!

With today being New Year's Eve, I wanted to share how DOKA came to be.

DOKA did not exist on this day, a year ago. In fact, a year ago, I was a single mother of a 4 year old, a 2 year old, and a newborn, freshly let go from the position I had worked for the previous year. Needing to figure out something that could help support my children and myself, I started this during the Easter season with my Buster the Bunny suit as the Easter Bunny - with immense support from my closest friends and my community. Marshall was welcomed warmly shortly after, everywhere in Haywood County. Through this year the support for DOKA has grown immensely, and the page reach I see never fails to astound me. I am so very thankful for every single one of you who have supported me in any way, shape, or form. I am exponentially thankful for anyone who has allowed me the opportunity to support my family while doing something I genuinely enjoy doing, which is putting smiles on faces and creating memories for everyone involved.

The Grinch marked our Christmas addition for this year, and next year a new Christmas favorite will join us as well. Bluey will be joining the crew in the coming months, along with Sonic The Hedgehog!

Once again, I want to thank everyone for the ongoing support, and to let you know that I have some awesome new characters joining the team for 2023.

The Grinch had a wonderful time meeting with everyone at Anna's Kiddie Korner despite not wanting to be there and not liking people! His heart grew ten times that day.
