Had a wonderful photo shoot with Tami Carda Photography, Emma and Will modeling from Chelsea Boutique, Sinless Sweets provided a beautiful vegan, gluten free cake, The Garden Shed created 2 beautiful bouquets, Halberstads provided the suit and Ellie Stone Bridal provided a stunning dress. Thanks to all who participated, can’t wait to see the real pictures! Here’s a sneak peak.

The Garden Party for the Good Samaritan Society was a huge success. The weather was perfect, the bugs stayed away and the live music by Bill Peterson all created a beautiful party.

Was it worth it?

Wedding costs have increased substantially. The average cost of a wedding in the Sioux Falls area is $27,400 according to The Knot.

At Wathier Weddings we don’t believe the cost should prevent you from getting married. If you’ve found that person who completes you, but you can’t afford a big fancy wedding, come see us. There are options and I’d love to share some ideas with you.

Have you ever done a gallery wall? It’s a lot harder than it sounds. Our Samsung Frame TV displays beautiful artwork but it definitely need something around it. Any advice?

What is your favorite white flower? As the snow starts to melt it's time to start planning the flower garden on either side of the large stairway leading up to the porch. The flower garden will be all white so that we can bring in potted flowers in the bride's colors and customize it just for their special day.
These are views of the main stairway and from the main stairway, the perfect place for your ceremony. Guests sit in the shade and the bridal party is elevated on the stairs. The winding sidewalk makes your perfect entrance last more than a few seconds. Let's not rush this.

The Groom's Room. Not only does the Bride get her own special suite, the Groom and Groomsmen can hang out in the bar, play pool and get nervous just like the bridal party. Two staircases mean the Bride and Groom and both be in the house getting ready without running into each other. Save that for the big moment!

The old truck is always there and can fit the whole wedding party on the back for a unique photo op.

Our Bridal Suite was frosted in pink this past weekend just for Rebecca. The large room boasts 7' mirrors, numerous vanities and French crystal chandeliers. The adjoining sunroom is full of light and offers a place to sneak a quiet moment and refreshment during a very special day.
