Zimmermann Symphony Center (the "Z") is a 22,000 sq ft addition to William E. Umstattd Performing Arts Hall (opened in 1977), housing the Canton Symphony Orchestra’s administrative offices, music library, education program area, and a multi-purpose reception hall. The development of the center has been a collaborative effort between the Canton City School District, the Canton Symphony Orchestra, and the greater Stark County community.
