When I was a kid I was able to experience a lot of things most kids my age and especially kids now a days never had the privilege to. When I was a kid both my granddad Moore and my grandpa Crockett had gardens raised animals, milked cows, and butchered their own meat, to which I was able to be a part of!! Some of my fondest memories was watching and getting to help granddad make breakfast sausage and cure bacon. So in the sprit of yesteryear, I've started curing some pork belly, which will become bacon in about 7 days along with a batch of jerky today!!! Next weekend sausage!!

West Texas Pit Masters : aka ( BBQ Vandals, Lance Moore and Matt Alexander ) dusted off the pit for the first time since last November and made the drive to Jacksboro, TX. TNT BBQ cookoff.

Brisket🐃 was 💰 but is still grazing in the pasture or drowned in the lake.

Go BIG Dates - Start Making Plans!

The Mark Marley Go BIG or Go HOME BBQ Committee is excited to announce the 8th Annual Mark Marley’s Go BIG or Go Home BBQ Bash will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 15th 16th & 17th, at the Running Water Draw (Kidsville) Park.

The three-day event will include a KCBS state-sanctioned barbecue cook-off, concerts featuring headliner Mark Powell and a return appearance from Cooder Graw and many other activities at the event this year.
