🥳 HAPPY NEW YEAR! 🥳

Last night we relived 2024 through our Happy Jar, a tradition we started in 2017. Each week, we write down at least 1 thing that made us happy or was the highlight of our week, and man, 2024 was full of some AWESOME new experiences & memories. I'm so incredibly grateful!! 🥰✨💗 Here are some of the highlights...

* I had lots of fun date nights with my hubby
* We met Twiggy the water-skiing squirrel!
* We celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary
* We threw a fun engagement party for my sister
* We celebrated John's 40th birthday
* I lost almost 20 pounds & 30 inches all over in the last 5 months doing "all the things" 🙌 and I found several new things that helped along the way (more on that later)
* I helped several of my clients get off of (or reduce) their meds and avoid surgeries
* I started on peptide therapy and had fewer MCAS reactions throughout the year!
* We photographed my sister's engagement session
* My sister married the love of her life! 💗
* We visited Myrtle Beach & made a lot of great new memories
* We had 2 sunrise photo shoots on the beach
* My husband got a promotion at work and he received their Superior Service Award! ⭐️
* We had a record-breaking Fall portrait season
* We went back to Bridgeton for the first time in 12 years
* I had two posts go viral on TikTok
* We celebrated my dad's 70th birthday with a Notre Dame themed party & cake
* We saw Elf in concert at Hilbert Circle Theatre
* We fed (and photographed) dozens of adorable squirrels, chipmunks, birds, and hummingbirds in John's beautiful garden

2024 was really good for us and I'm so thankful. After several rough years during Covid and dealing with MCAS, I'm grateful for forward progress!! If all you did was survive 2024, that's ok too - every year is different for everyone and the hard times make the good times that much better.

Several years ago, we created a treat box for delivery drivers around the holidays. It was such a huge hit that we decided to keep it out year-round. We've since upgraded to a larger snack box with more options and this week, we upgraded the sign thanks to SomersinAlaska! 🫶 Our drivers have been loving it! 💗
