A touching and poignant celebration of the artists for the book “Carmel and Big Sur Artists - Bohemian Legacy.”

The Monterey Peninsula has such a rare and unknown historical importance to the world of art. The Crowd and The Carmel International Film Festival recognize these artists for their accomplishment and contribution to the history that inspired the Clint Eastwood film, “Don’t Pave Mainstreet.”

Fred Wolf, writer and director of such amazing comedy movies as “Joe Dirt,” “House Bunny,” and Adam Sandler’s “Grown Ups” is presenting to The Crowd as part of The Carmel International Film Festival.

Date and times are not yet set. He just messaged us and told us he would be able to speak about his amazing body of work.

7pm Afterparty at The Forge In the Forest in Carmel by the Sea. Music by Chuck and Buck!

Artist Bill Morrison painted the Simpsons. A graffiti artists named Kaws copied it. Someone sold it for 15 million. That and other interesting stories during the movie presentation and audience Q&A.

Moderated by CIFFest co-director Annette Andersen, the former assistant to the creator of the series.
