Why Host An ?

It’s all about , just like the coathangers, and building with your people.

The annual is not just a chance for your employees to Paaaarty! It actually has several benefits, here are a few:

1. It gives your employees time to socialize with teammates outside of the work environment, getting to know each other better (as well as getting to meet significant others).

2. It’s a chance for “management” whether it be board members, C-Suite, or division heads to personally connect and engage with their team members. Shake hands, thank, and get to know them and vice versa. It can help personalize management especially if they rarely have the chance to connect at work.

3. Outside or front line team members can get to know their back office or warehouse teammates.

What are other reasons why you have employee events?

At a bank’s employee party last year, I watched the CEO and several of their board members walking around the room to each table of guests, shaking hands, meeting the plus ones and welcoming them. It was at a casino and so they also all handed out $5 chips.

Small cost to pay for a chance to personally connect and give a small gift. A few even did the handshake exchange of the chips which made it a sudden surprise as well.
