Today had me in tears, tears of joy. I have not been able to run in 5 years to constant medical issues and battle cancer. Its taken alot to heal from this and starting over is never easy. But today I put my shoes on and went for a mile run with my babies!! I did it! So if youre recovering from cancer or battling, just know your body is capable of more than you think! There was a time when I dreaded waking up. I knew after I watched my boys catch their bus to school, I had to make that long dreary walk back to my office and clock in for work. I hated working 9-5 and feeling depressed. Now that I get to wake up everyday and bake for all my lovely customers, itā€™s like finally learning to breathe again. I am at peace in my kitchen and I am truly happy when I package all your goodies!
