New Service Alert from The Barn At Newby's Crossroads - we now have party tents!!! Pictured below is one of our 10' x 20' collapsible tents, available with or without sides and interior cabana lights!!! Several customers have asked if we have space for the wedding party to prepare for their big event and now we do! These portable tents can be placed on any (nearly) level spot on the property and their adjustable legs even allow for hillside placement! Ideal for wedding party prep, ceremony spot coverage, or we can set them up in tandem in the barn lot (or at your ceremony spot) for use as a 20' x 20' party tent. We offer them at prices well below what you would pay from a party rental company (we fact checked this ;) ) and will happily work with you to suggest ideal locations for setup for your special day. The Barn At Newby's Crossroads hosted an amazing fundraiser for the Rappahannock Food Pantry last night, Saturday June 1, with a large group enjoying an incredible early summer evening, an enormous amount of delicious food, and joyful camaraderie with their fellow Food Pantry fans. AND an incredibly enormous joyful amount of money was raised for The Pantry!!! Thanks to all who attended and thanks especially to all the volunteers at Food Pantry who made this evening the special event that it was. Finished almost all the "finishing touches" for our Winter Project at The Barn At Newby's Crossroads this weekend and we're thrilled with the results. Picked up the wood today to put the very last final touch (floor molding) on next weekend. Then it's cleanup time and we'll be ready to host YOUR dream country wedding and reception at The Barn At Newby's Crossroads. :)

Crossed a BIG item off the list today with the completion of our winter interior project at The Barn At Newby's Crossroads. Still some finishing touches to add, which will happen next weekend, but all interior walls are now clad in our own family farm raised Paulownia planking. Each plank has its own unique natural design and all of them combine to create a rustic venue like no other. Made some progress on our winter project today at The Barn At Newby's Crossroads. :) The back wall is now clad in our family farm raised Pawlonia planks and we've turned the corner, headed for the front wall! And still no arguments!!! ;) Taking next weekend off for Jimmy and Beth's mid winter beach outing but hoping to wrap this project up by the end of the month with pictorial updates to come. :)

Got started on Part 2 of our 2024 winter project at The Barn At Newby's Crossroads today. Took us a while to find our rhythm but we got there and were pleased with what we got done today. Goal is to have all that new insulation covered by our family farm raised Paulownia siding by the end of this month. :) Wish us luck!!! ;)
