I was so excited to do some baking today. I had to bake cake for an order tomorrow, so decided to bake some muffins for myself for breakfast this week. I made raspberry and a triple berry. I will enjoy them each morning at work. Make sure to stay tuned tomorrow for the cake I will be decorating.
So frustrating. My laptop is busy doing updates and I want to post. Reached out to my assistant page manager to let you know about my tech problems tonight. Fingers crossed that it will finish this update before I go to bed. Tomorrow I'm sure it will be fine so watch for some weekend posts.
Today is Fudge Day.
Funny I would think this day would be during the xmas holidays when people are more apt to make it. I make fudge to give away for presents during the holidays. I don't think of it any other times of year. I make mostly chocolate. I may try sometime a peanut butter bottom with chocolate top. My two favorite flavors and so are they my hubbies. Do you like fudge? If so what flavors and do you make it?
Today is Red Rose Day
Roses are also the flower for the month of June. Not just red ones but all. Red Roses are meant to show Love. Kind of funny that Valentine's day is in February when you are more likely to receive red roses and yet it's not the flower for February. Red roses are often a flower on wedding cakes and June is typically wedding month, so maybe that's why. So here here a red rose for you today.
Today is Corn on the Cob Day
Well here in VT you aren't going to get local. Our corn around us in the fields has just come up and isn't very tall yet. I've seen some in the grocery store and gather probably from Florida and other states that are far ahead of us. I do love corn on the cob though with butter and salt. Yummy. We have cooked ours in the microwave and get flavor. How do you cook yours? I look forward to local but know then that summer is fast coming to an end so willing to wait. Want a little summer for a bit and not rush it away. Do you like corn on the cob?

Today is Flipping coins day.
What are some times that you use flipping a coin to make a decision? Sometimes it can be what or where to have for dinner. Who goes first. What item to buy. I haven't used this technique in a while so can't remember what I used it to make for a decision. Might have been something silly but then maybe not.

Today is National Hat Day. I'm not one to wear a hat as I don't like how I look. I think many hats are really cool and love that some people can carry off the look, I just don't happen to be one of those. Do you wear hats?
