✨REP SEARCH✨

So excited for a new rep term🙌🏼

A rep search is a group of individuals that I hand pick from interest, and you’ll be modeling any or all minis/sessions that I come up with.

With that being said, I’m giving some more people the opportunity to rep with me from the months of September - end of December.

✔️Requirements:

~ Must be active on the page (like, comment, and share ALL posts made by me)

~ Willing to do last minute shoots on weekdays/weekends (I will not need you every time, just here and there)

~ Must be able to follow dress code for shoots

~ Must book one session during the term to keep you as a rep for the next term.

~ Not allowed to go to another photographer in the area during your term for any reason unless I’m fully booked. Then I’ll send you recommendations of photographers in the area that would best fit your needs if I’m unavailable.

~ If you see an individuals post asking for recommendations for a photographer, please list me.

🤩Benefits:

~ $35 sessions unless it’s a rental property or has rental props or a particular mini session.

~ First look + choice at all minis/time slots

~ For every 4 different people you refer and they book with me, you’ll receive a FREE 30 minute session (this can only be used once)

We promised an update on the pumpkins. In case you have been waiting, here they are! Some are ready for sale now! If you want some early please reach out and we will accommodate you. Keep your eyes open to look for locations, date, and times in future post. 👀 🎃

These are very large Captain Jack Pumpkins that are a favorite to carvers. Some weigh as much as 30-40lbs so be advised of that.

It would be greatly appreciated if you would interact with this post to help us spread the word. There’s enough pumpkins to go around!

We love history, especially local history so today we’re going to share with you!

Off in the distance is the Clinch Mountain Range. Its approximately 160 miles long and It runs from Knox county TN northeast into southwest Virginia stopping at Burke’s garden in Tazwell county. This mountain summits 4,000 ft in four locations and one of them being nearby Beartown Mountain.

There’s only a few natural gaps along the entire range and the most known and well used is the Moccasin Gap in Gate City, VA. A second gap known as Little Moccasin gap in between Abingdon & Hansonville. This today is mostly know as John Douglas wayside. Named after a man that was shot in the area presumably by Cherokee Indians while he was warning settlers to an impending Indian attack. It’s also an area that went viral locally due to a huge rock fall a few months back.

Daniel Boone & William Bean we’re the first known pioneers that climbed the Clinch Mountain range and since then many stories have been told about this area and the hardship that come along with it back in the early settlement of the Clinch Valley region of Russell & Scott Counties.

It almost feels like this summer has flew by.
Fall is just around the corner and we can’t wait to snap some shots the leaves changing this year. We’ve been very blessed and thankful for support from many of you. It’s not easy today getting word out about anything so we will always be grateful for that.

Our pumpkins are performing very well.

Like many other farmers we’re thankful for the amount of rain fall we’ve been blessed with this summer in Southwest Virginia.

Fall is just around the corner though and like us, we know some are already excited for that.
They will be available in the coming weeks.

This rainbow was directly over top of the venue yesterday evening. I don’t believe it was a coincidence at all. In fact, it is a reminder that storms are guaranteed to come into our lives. It doesn’t matter how long the storm may last. The beauty is on the other side.

I have been rattling my brain with the appropriate words to say. We had such a significant loss in our family yesterday afternoon. I (Destiny Porter) lost my father to his battle with cancer. I want to thank each and everyone of you for all of the love, support, and most of all prayers that have been prayed. I ask to please keep my family and myself in your prayers as we try to adjust to the new “normal”.

With that being said, I wanted to make everyone aware that we are still taking phone calls and messages. At this time, please allow us a couple days at least for response. Thank you for understanding
