PE&BEA Notes that I posted in the event section

Wow, I was honored to preview one of the balloon classes on Friday. OMG it was amazing. I want to let all the balloon people know you will be thrilled with all the different sculptures that you will learn in the 'it's all the same balloon' class as you will learn to make bracelets, headbands and handheld sculptures. Don't worry about what balloons you will need either, Rose and Tristen are bringing the balloons that you need for their amazing class.

On the Face Painting side, I am still working on fitting in a little jam at 5pm before class starts at 6pm. Just to sort of warm up. The schedule is set up to be progressive. We will be start with basics and end with the super heros.
5-6 possible fp jam (the balloon people ARE having a basics class 5-6)
6-7 fp basic line work and split cakes
7-7:30 Designs by Anne Lawrence
7:30p-8 Business break/both groups together/Pricing w TaNinya
8p-9p Super Hero designs for boys and girls w Corey Morgan
9pm Both groups together and Door prizes (must be present to win)

We will have Name tags/wrist bands that will be given out at registration desk. That will help us with meet and greet. There will be some appetizers brought in at about 4:30 for everyone that is there for the 2-5 balloon deco and jam group. And another round of appetizers will be brought in at 7:30 for the business break with TaNinya.

The State Fair did the right thing.

The New Mexico State Fair has temporarily shut down one of the face-painting booths after safety concerns surfaced this week with the paint being used on children's faces.
