Leaf & Stem Delivery Driver/Floral Assistant
We are a floral company that primarily delivers arrangements to residential and commercial clients. We are looking for part time delivery drivers to assist our team members with completing daily orders.
The primary responsibility of this position is to make deliveries, on time and as they were designed, to clients throughout Onondaga and Oswego Counties. We have a 2019, two 2020 and a 2021 and a 2022 all electric Nissan Leaf delivery vehicles. On average delivery routes range from 50 to 100 miles and includes 15 to 25 arrangements. Secondary responsibility would be to get trained as a floral assistant while In the shop and perform basic level one floral duties.
Responsibilities:
Delivering (deliver on time, undamaged, no extra stops)
Assisting Florist (dish gardens, food baskets, balloons, writing cards)
Carry Heavy Loads, up to 40lbs (carriers full of arrangements, compost bins, cases of vases)
Cleaning (sweeping, mopping, vases/buckets, trash/cardboard removal)
Processing Flowers/Plants (watering, cleaning)
Restocking Vases/Supplies

Salary:
starting at $15.00 (depending on experience)

Overtime regularly available for full time employees
Work Days:
Monday through Saturday ( some Sundays around holiday
(Must be available to work Extra shifts leading up to major holidays)

11:00 am
Typical End Time:
6:00 - 8:00 pm (depends on the delivery run)

Requirements:
Drivers Licence (safe driving record)
Cell Phone (with internet access)
3 Year minimum driving experience
