Sometimes, we buy a dress, and the neckline and/or bust just don't seem to fit, especially wedding gowns. I've seen a design that is just too small, or the neckline is too low. Here, I've extended Ashlee's neckline to have a little bit of coverage adding lace in the front.

The front view of my home town, Biri. What a beautiful scenery. I haven't seen this in 8 years. I'm glad I'm here relaxing and seeing this magnificent view I don't see every day. The water is calm. The Mayon Volcano is calm today. It's been active and spewing lava for several days. That's why it's very hot.

I just want to share this information with the brides on what to do with your wedding gown after your wedding event.
Almost always, wedding gowns become soiled and dirty after the wedding.
At Gemma's Bridal Alterations, we probably receive 5% out of 100% back for cleaning and/or preservation each month.
My advice is to clean or preserve your wedding gown right away so it's easy to remove the soil, makeup, and smudges. I waited 7 years for mine to be cleaned. Some of the soil and brown ring spots didn't come off.
We spent so much money on the wedding gown buying and altering it. My advice is to clean it if you are thinking of selling or want to wear it again for your first anniversary or photoshoot. Preserve it by cleaning and sealing in the box if you are keeping it.

I had such a good time with my bride Doriane and her Mom and Aunties on her final fitting. They're such lovely, fun and kind people.
Here, I added detachable loose lace straps on her dress. The gown is not lined on the bodice. She wanted it lined so as have a little bit of Modesty look to it.

My beautiful March bride, Catarina. Mom said to me "I can not trust just any seamstress to work on major changes of this gown but to come to you." Who said no one can change the design of this dress? I did. It wasn't difficult at all.

Another cool thing I did on the dress was cut the lining off the train to the same length as the front of the dress, allowing the lace on the overlay to shine and show its beautiful and intricate details. How awesome!
It was an awesome experience with this bride and her Mom. The finish was perfect. Just like how I invisioned her in the dress.
