I hear it all the time. Most people don't like being photographed. And it doesn’t matter who they are—I’ve had powerhouse CEOs crumble in front of the lens. I’ve seen the most stunning, confident people suddenly pick themselves apart.

The camera lens feels like a spotlight, and suddenly, every insecurity bubbles up.

Woohoo, the August issue of Village Neighbors is out! The photos came out great, considering that we had literally one day to set everything up AND shoot (crazy NC weather + busy schedules). Loved working with the fam - kudos to the kids, who were super cooperative! ❤️❤️❤️

How adorable is she! I must admit, Senior sessions are becoming my favorites. I invest quite a bit emotionally into every session, and it can sometimes be draining. But after this one, I was elated for days! Did you know donkeys love hugs and so do baby goats? I am smitten!!!

Tis the season! Got a chance to photograph this fabulous grad with the most fabulous attitude and theme. Thank you, Sara Schaecher for being such a good sport! UNC campus was crawling with grads and photographers and finding a clear spot to shoot wasn't easy. Let alone changing! Note: photographing ballerinas is a breeze. They are tough and up for anything, including stopping traffic⛔️🚗!
