Nothing sets the scene for a night to remember like a thoughtfully styled reception space. We loved curating this dreamy dinner setting for Scott & Heather’s at The Cedar Room this past summer!

When I first chatted with Scott & Heather, it was clear how important they wanted the environment to feel. Intimate and beautiful, but very cozy-casual. They wanted loads of stunning colors, which truly radiated both of their personalities!

Once Jordan and I sat down and started designing things, we knew exactly which vendors would nail the vision. So good to look back on these photos and see how it all came to fruition! 😌✨

We are neck-deep in planning sooo many lovely weddings for our absolutely incredible 2024, 2025 AND 2026 couples!!! We are literally over-the-moon excited and honored to be a small part of it all…you all know who you are! 🥹

This city is a constant reminder of why I love what I do! ⛪️✨😌

Living and working in Charleston, we are constantly surrounded by the city’s timeless beauty – from the charming streets to the iconic steeples peeking through the palm trees (like this one captured by ).

But let’s be so real for a second…planning weddings here isn’t just about having those picture-perfect moments. It’s also about embracing the unpredictable, the imperfect, and sometimes downright hilarious mishaps that happen along the way.

One of the things I’ve learned from planning weddings is that perfection isn’t about everything going exactly as planned – it’s about how you embrace the unexpected. Whether it’s a sudden breeze that turns your veil into a work of art or a moment of laughter when something doesn’t go as scripted, these are the memories that make your day truly yours.

So, here’s a little reminder: It’s okay if things don’t go exactly as planned. In fact, it’s those unscripted moments that often turn out to be the most beautiful and memorable.
