As pride month comes to an end I want to take a moment to speak from my heart. We take June to celebrate the love of the LGBTQIA+ community and stonewall, but why should we just stop in June. Why can we not celebrate ALL love every single day? Love is the great unifier of people. It brings together families, communities, and in time even countries. In the past few weeks I have seen our nation divide itself over morals, values, and your right to choose. If we could just all love one another for who they are and not by the decision that some people have to make this country would be so much better of a place.

So I leave you with this. Choose LOVE and choose LOVE everyday.

My all time favorite thing as a wedding planner is to see a design board come to life. Katy was a full service client of ours and had no idea where to start with her wedding planning. We took the reigns and guided her through with the ideas that she knew that she wanted, and gave her some ideas she never knew that she would want, but did. It really is a true dream to be able to work with amazing couples day in and day out to brings their dreams to life.

Oh how we just love, LOVE ❤️
We had such a fun time at Mercedes’ and Taylor’s elopement. Richard Israel] did an amazing job capturing all the right pictures.

This week the Imagine This team will be heading to Blowing Rock to celebrate with Mackenzie and Tristan. But, before we head up the mountain we will be having a showroom design day along with a week full of meetings.

We are back in the office full time this week, and boy do we have some fun meetings scheduled. Every time we have a meeting with a 2022 couple we get so excited for what this year has in store for us. Let’s just say the wedding boom is still booming.

This is a PSA to all the couples planning out there. BOOK YOUR VENDORS EARLY! I can not tell you how many couples we have had to recommend to other planners because we are completely booked for their date. If you have a photographer, venue, planner, florist, etc that you love and want to work with, start talking to them the second you get your date nailed down or maybe even before. If you are flexible on your date but really want this vendor, ask them what dates they have available within a certain time frame. Trust me, they will love you for this. It is so important to find the amazing and talented vendors for your wedding that will ultimately make your day a big success.

✨Imagine This Update!✨
We have been so busy with new and exciting things.(I can’t wait to spill the beans) This week we will have limited hours as we travel to San Diego, CA to celebrate with our two lovebirds. Be sure to watch our stories to see this beautiful wedding. I am going to take some time while I am there to enjoy California and take in all the amazing things it has to offer. I will show you a few of my favorite spots along the way. I will officially be back in the office April 8th for half a day and all day April 9th. If you need me….don’t….I’m just kidding. I’ve secretly always wanted to say that. But in all seriousness if you need me please email me and I will respond within 48 hours. We love watching tables transform into something magical. When you are designing your guest tables on your wedding day, don’t forget to think about how you want your guest to feel when they look at the table. Different colors and different textures can bring out warmth, happiness, and so many other emotions. Always design with intention (and never pinterest).

Hi There!

It has been a while since I have introduced myself on here. My name is Lori and I am the owner and lead creative behind Imagine This. This past year has been mind blowing for me and I am forever great to keep growing in this industry. I have been in the wedding industry for 7 years now and I have loved every minute of it. I have a back ground in venue management, but got tired of doing the same weddings every single weekend.

I guess this is the point where I am supposed to tell 5 interesting things about myself.
-I am a Panthers super fan and have season tickets.
-I really do not like Bojangles (Please don't come after me for this one)
- I drink way too much tea and hate coffee.
- I love to travel but also do love being at home with the pups.
- I am an advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community and I am so happy and excited to be apart of

What an amazing start to this fall season! We have been so blessed to have such amazing couples and vendors to work with throughout this entire year. I can not believe that we still have seven more weddings until the end of the 2021 year.

We had a wonderful time celebrating Olivia and Cameron on October 2nd. Olivia and Cameron were so amazing to work with throughout the entire planning process. We had such a fun time designing their color pallet and creating their design board.

I mean look at how well these colors pop together!

✨Pro Tip ✨

When creating your stationary for your wedding be sure that the design encompasses the overall feel of your wedding. Your photographer will want to take detailed shots and you want to make sure that everything is cohesive.
It is always good to bring personal items from home, like perfume, you and your fiancé favorite book, tickets that you have saved from a date you went on. Anything small and memorable is a good option.

How sweet is this mother son dance? ✨Truth bomb for you….you will usually find me hiding not watching any of the special dances. Some how this is the most emotional part for me. There is something special about sharing that moment with your loved one that just brings me to tears.
A lot of people don’t have the chance to dance with a parent at their wedding. If you are that person here is something you can do.
✨Ask someone who has made an impact on your life to share that dance with you.
✨Do you have multiple people who have made an impact on you? Ask all of them to come up and dance with you at certain points in the dance.
✨Ask a grandparent, aunt, or uncle to dance with you.
✨Don’t forget that you don’t have to do the dance if you don’t want to. It is okay to opt out of doing things at your wedding.

I have been in love with this picture from the moment I saw it. It has made an appearance on my lock screen, my computers background, and now Instagram. Sometimes things just click! It was just that way with Julie and Lou Lou’s wedding. It is even better when you have a vendor team that just clicks as well. I want to go back to this day just so I can work with these amazing people again.
