At the age of 16 Deb planned her first surprise wedding anniversary for her parents. It was a very simple celebration with balloons and streamers and a "homemade" sign that said “Happy Anniversary”. The guest included her grandparents, siblings and their next door neighbors. Deb purchased and prepared all the food (fried chicken, gravy, green beans, cool aid and cake). The ambience of love and good wishes filled the room. For Deb, at the time she was just preparing a special day for her parents but today, she realizes the seeds sowed early in her life is what's blooming today. For that she is thankful to God for her talents & her parents for allowing her to be herself !
