Football season is FINALLY here so kick off your gameday with the best on-site tailgate company in Charlotte. Whether it's in the parking lot or in your neighborhood your guests will feast like royalty before the game with the best tailgate in town. For early games we do breakfast from crabcake eggs benedict to omelettes, lunch/dinner options from whole hogs to elk chops, Wagyu beef, and seafood boils, sliders, crazy sides, and more with open fire cooking on site.

Two years ago today I embarked on a personal journey with the help of friends, family, clients, and local and national media to volunteer with World Central Kitchen at the Ukraine/Poland border cooking for and aiding thousands of Ukrainian refugees every day. Seeing the women, men, and children coming off trains every day knowing that their lives have been shattered due to a horrendous war not of their choosing was and is heartbreaking. In the 2 years since the world seems to be in even more turmoil. The Ukraine war continues, Israel brutally attacked by Hamas sparking that war, civil war in Haiti and genocide in Sudan, continued upheaval in Ethiopia, Nigeria, and other conflicts, all with the common element of thousands of innocent people dying in the crossfire. Add in political turmoil, inflation and political acrimony in the US, it’s easy to just be resigned to think the “world is on fire” and in some respects it is. While we can all get despondent due to the turmoil there is still one thing that we can all agree on, that everyone needs food every day and each of us can help those that don’t know where their next meal is coming from. Whether at home in the US or abroad donate whatever you can to groups like World Central Kitchen www.wck.org or a local aid group, volunteer in a food bank, bring someone who is ill a meal. While none of us individually can solve the world’s problems at least each of us can do our part to make somebody's day a little brighter and give them a meal and hope.
