Back from a trip to the Rockies in MT and WY. Wish I had gotten a few more pics of all the wildflowers.
Came home to this hot, dry weather 🥵 and a spring garden waiting to be cleaned up and replanted with more summer annuals. I still have some beautiful things available, including summer dahlias, but overall, there will be a down turn in abundance until later in the summer. As usual, reach out for your daily orders and party needs anytime. We will make it happen for you!

Dainty ranunculus, they're not sure what to do with this April heat wave. Got them planted later in the fall than I should have, so they're blooming later than they should be. I wish we could put a cap on what's the allowable high in April. 😆 70 degrees should be as high as it's allowed to get in NC in April. Yes or no? 😀

I was excited to see my copy of Lisa's new book, The Cut Flower Handbook, on my porch today. As I opened the dedication page, I had to stop right there as I felt a sense of nostalgia when I read 'To the grandmas that shared their love of gardening.' How beautiful! My grandmother was the original inspiration behind my passion for gardening and floristry; it would be so wonderful to share this joy with her now. Lisa Mason Ziegler your new book looks incredible and I can't wait to dig in!
