3 years ago if you had told me that I would become a business owner, I wouldn’t have believed you. 2 years ago, I did, but yet, that was just the beginning. If you had said to me 2 years ago, your business will become successful, I still probably wouldn’t have believed you. But it did become successful. If you had told me a year ago, your work would be recognized by everyone in the city, I was hopeful of it, but I STILL didn’t think it would be. Even with a lot of firsts in the community, it still never really hit me.
I’ve learned that we are not supposed to lean on our own understanding, but to trust God and his works. I tell you what, good works NEVER go unnoticed! I was reached out to last year by a news station, the best in the area to be exact. They first explained to me, how good my food was, that they had received at an event. I was super grateful, but then they asked would I be interested in receiving some help to make my business grow! Of course, I was like…. UMMM YEAH!!! Lol
We linked up, we talked, meeting after meeting, day after day and came up with a solution. Let’s do a commercial, so the people can know 3 things. What kind of business you have, what does it offer, and who you are! Not only did they help me with creating this commercial, they let me CREATE the commercial! 🙏🏾❤️🙌🏾 From the photos of my work, to the services I offer, even down to the script, I created! The editor at WVIR NBC29 put the rest together for me, the Account Executive and Local Sales Manager became family, and the rest of the station took me in as their very own!
Airing starts TOMORROW on NBC29, CW29 as well as Weather Plus! But since you all have showed us so much love and support here on social media and in person, you get to see it first! 🙏🏾
