Happy 12/22/22. It’s a significant day to me, for many reasons - so I chose this day to let you all know that I am closing my wedding design & planning business.

The past 12 years have brought me many gifts…
My employees - who became family. They all so worked hard, were incredibly loyal, and cared deeply for me and all of our clients.
Amazing clients, who I adore and keep in touch with to this day.
Wonderful creative partners, who will remain my friends for life
Supportive national networks of other wedding industry professionals. To call this an “industry” is such a misnomer. This is a tightly-knit web of small business owners, creative warriors, and resilient professionals, whom I am proud to call friends.

I hope Orpha Events will continue to inspire the wedding world with creativity, professionalism, and by building solid and authentic relationships. My team and I worked very hard to create a business that was built on passion, professionalism, and relationships - and I believe we’ve done that.

Ya’ll - the 2020 “event season” has been one for the books. Unlike anything we could have ever expected - but truly so many gifts revealed themselves. We had the honor of helping our sweet and beautiful A&J get married today up at the top of Montalto - overlooking the city. The rain and clouds cleared just at the right moment for some beautiful photos. And with that 2020 events have come to a close. Now it’s time for me to get to work getting out the vote and serving as an election officer.

I got the sweetest note from our bride C just now as they prepare to celebrate their first anniversary. Connecting with my clients on such a lovely, emotional level means the world to me. And this family will always have a special place in my heart. Happy Anniversary C&B. We love you all!
