I’m so excited that our 2024 wedding season is fully under way!

Did you know that two years ago we decided to cap our weddings during this season of raising littles? 😌
Real talk, I tried to do it all and was becoming burnt out and stretched too thin.

Deep down I wanted to be fully present for both our clients as well as our boys, but how? So over time new goals and visions were made and it’s been great!!!

I’m now taking a lot more weekday shoots with headshots, commercial events, families and babies. We’re offering regular mini sessions and I’m able to stay on top of wedding and engagements because we’re only accepting 6 weddings a year. 😍 6! We have 300+ weddings under our belts so this was a shift but I’m loving how energetic and passionate I am again so it was worth it.

Thank you all for supporting us as we open up more family and commercial shoots. We are still booking weddings but want to share our love of every stage of life through our photography and it wouldn’t be possible without you.

I’m currently accepting only two more weddings for 2024. Feel free to reach out or tag a friend who needs so photo love, we can’t wait to help. Cheers!

Kristen you are stunning!

Watching you first as a fiancé, then as you became a wife, and now as a mama of (soon) two little ones all I can say is wow. What an honor it is to catch this next season with you guys and I can’t wait to see your family continue to grow!

Also, can I please give a shout out to Cleveland Tennessee!? I have loved shooting up there so much more this season and it will always hold such a special part of my heart. Such a cute town and close community. ❤️ this shoot proved it

Engaged ! 🩷 It was such a treat capturing Logan and Alison yesterday on the Chattanooga walking bridge. They both love living downtown and we incorporated their favorite spots into the shoot.

Also it doesn’t hurt that Alison is a local weather pro and chose the most perfect evening for us 😍😂. They’re so perfect together thanks again Alison and Logan !

Loryn’s grandmother made her gorgeous veil for their elopement and it deserved its very own moment. The weight was perfect and it glowed!

What are some of your favorite personal touches that you’ve seen at a wedding?

Personally — My mom (an incredible seamstress) handbeaded parts of my gown and redesigned a bit of it as a gift. It’s still my favorite memory.

Winter weddings at Ramble Creek got me like 😍.

Creating fine art is my obsession. I actually began my photography journey on black and white film while in college. Watching those images come alive in the dark room will forever stick with me. I believe that color photography can be stunning, but there is always a sweet spot in my heart for the power of a black and white fine art photo.

On an average wedding day, and at many portrait shoots, I typically carry two cameras and I have thought about shooting strictly black and white on one. So far I have chickened out 😂 but with the new year I am being intentional about leaning into what makes MY heart truly go pitter patter.

Curious if a mostly black and white shoot would ever interest you guys? Thoughts?
