🚨Attention Vendors🚨
This is a warning to all. Scammers are in full effect. This is how most scammers will get you. As vendors it is your job to stay vigilant and be smart. The number 1 way to avoid being scammed is to do the work yourself to contact the real coordinator. This means, when you see an event link, click into it, look at creator of the event, go to that creators page- READ & Scroll their page to either find their email or directly message them from their profile. Too often I see vendors comment on a link saying "Im interested can i get an app" ⬅️STOP COMMENTING THIS❗️
Soon as you do 3 million scamers respond saying contact me, me, me or me! This morning I opened my business page to find I had over 57 notifications- ALL SCAMMERS posting things like this below on every event link I have, & every comment section they could possibly comment on.
Turning off comments is detrimental for coordinators and vendors, so dont suggest that. Commenting and tagging friends allows for the event link to be shared more often and helps the algorithm.
