🌞A few more weeks and it will be summer flower subscription time! In the meantime, if you have a special occasion coming up and would like an arrangement made, just give me a holler a couple days in advance to check out what's going on in the garden! ~~Right now my lupine, columbine, irises and peonies are beginning to bloom. 🥰 ~~
I've got a couple orders I'll be working on next week so pictures will be coming soon! 😁

While waiting for my own peonies to be ready, we decided to visit Adelman Peony Garden and Schreiner's Iris Garden in Oregon. If you haven't been to these places, I definitely recommend a visit. Even if you aren't shopping, it's just fun to stop and smell the flowers! 😊

Hi friends: I'm sorry, I wish I had more flowers ready around Mother's Day, but I just don't this year. 😕 It always seems to be right as the garden is transitioning between spring and summer...
Ranunculus were slow to get going (I only have about 10 flowers out there from probably 200+ corms I planted) but with the heat on the way (80s this weekend?!) they might just curl up and die as they aren't heat lovers. 😔
Peonies are not quite ready...
And the summer flowers won't be ready for at least another month or two.
I would usually collaborate with another flower farm friend, but they have not been answering my calls or messages the past couple weeks. So that's a no go right now.
I'm sorry. I feel bad I don't have anything to offer right now from the garden.

I will update as soon as we get some blooms going again.

The cart will be out from 9-5 today!

$1 per stem, Cash only please. Monies go in the wooden box on the cart. There are rubber bands provided for bunching your tulips for the trip home. 😊

What do I do when I have pretty flowers that didn't sell?
I like to share them with my mama. 🩷
And sometimes we make arrangements together. 😊

It was her enthusiasm and love of flowers that cultivated my own passion for them.

Growing up I could point to any plant we'd pass by and my mom would know the name of it. I remember pressing violas into the pages of books with her like we were saving them for later. And the many trips to the local nursery to fill every nook and cranny of our front yard with flowers. Cutting anything on our property I found beautiful to put in a vase for mom. Even our large yellow roses that smelled soooo sweet and were so beautiful but only lasted a single day in a vase. There are many days I miss the big ole sage bush we had when I was little, with all of its blueish purple blooms. I'd pair them with mom's peonies with their marshmallow pink and raspberry colored petals...

🩷And more than just teaching me about flowers and how to love them, I'm thankful she taught me about Jesus and how to love Him.

Happy Easter Mama. Thank you for all the wonderful things you still teach me today. 🩷

The months of February and March... Winter hanging on and the hopefulness of spring showing up in frosty hellebores and early budding daffodils.
The days are slowly getting longer. Most the time I am thinking so far ahead I forget to be present in the RIGHT NOW. I guess we better just enjoy the hot cocoa and cozy blankets while we can... Every season has its own special thing. 😊
And Spring will get here soon enough.
Then it's really GO TIME💪
