St. Patrick's Day in Chester will take place on March 19th, 2021 from Noon until 7pm at the Chester Event Center 19 March. Chester, SC.
Live performance by the Fiddler and the Flutist from 5pm-7pm. Chili contest, Co****le Tourn, Food, Drink, Leprechaun drawing contest Paddy's Day in Chester will kickoff at 12 PM and run until 7pm on 19 March from the beautiful Chester Event Center in (125 Main St.) This year's event will have a chili cookoff, food, souvenirs, live music from 5 PM- 7 PM, a special guest, Lucky O'Malley the Leprecha
un will be attendance, cash bar, and much more. The event is open to the public. Entry fee for the Chili cookoff competitors is only $5, and the public will be judging. You can purchase a ticket to judge 5 chilis for $10, and purchase as many of those as you want. You can even enter as many chilis to compete as you want for just $5 each. A sample score card is posted on the page, so we suggest you review the criteria. We also suggest you make plenty so that you don't run out and receive less votes. A trophy and cash prize will go to 1st place. A t shirt and cash prize goes to 2nd place. We are also planning on having a Corn Hole Tournament, as long as we have at least 4 teams. The bar will be a cash bar so please cash. Credit and debit cards will not be accepted. Irish and potato stew will be served for $10.00 a Quart with a limited supply the day of and bowls will be available for purchase. All orders can be prepaid in advance and picked up the day of the event. Donations are accepted with all proceeds going to support CURES for Chester.

There was one kid who drew an outstanding Leprechaun for Mr. O'Malley at the event center, but he left before we could give him his pot o' gold coins. If someone knows him please let us know and we'll arrange for him to get his prize. Thank you.

Tomorrow is the BIG DAY!!!
The Chester Event Center Annual St. Patrick's Day Festival begins Saturday 19 March and runs from Noon until 7pm, and if we still have a good crowd we'll stay open later!
Show some local pride and get on out and support this and other local festivities. All profits from this event are going right back into building this and other events in Chester.
125 Main St. The Chester Event Center, (the old Masonic Temple and originally a bank on the top of the hill downtown).
Karaoke, Food, Beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic, beer, wine, liquor, Irish Coffee, sweet tea, non-sweet tea, green tea), Irish Beef Stew, Potato Soup with ham and bacon by the bowl or quart to go), Chili Cook-off with cash prize and trophy, corn hole tournament with trophy and cash prize, Our Very Own Leprechaun Mr. Lucky O'Malley will be giving away gold chocolate coins and getting pictures taken courtesy of James Studio (Jeffrey Orr), Leprechaun drawing contest (prefer kids age 12 and under but we understand there are special cases and that's perfectly fine), Live Music from 5pm until 7pm with the Fiddler and the Flutist!

We've decided to increase the food and beverages at the St. Paddy's Day event, and added karaoke. So we'll have Irish Beef Stew, Potato Soup with Ham and Bacon, Brownies, Cupcakes, White Chocolate and Macadamia Nut Cookies, the Chili Cookoff, Crown and Coke, Jamesons, Irish Coffee, Rum and Coke, Draft Beer, Bud Light in the collectable large cans, Wine, Sweet Tea, Soft Drinks, Live Music, Corn Hole, The Leprechaun Drawing Contest, and MORE!!!!

You may still be able to enter contests the day of the Event, but if you want a guaranteed slot please refer to the flyers for POC information and the schedule. I would especially suggest restaurants enter the Chili Cookoff. We are tremendously happy and proud to have the Fiddler and the Flutist at the Chester St. Patrick's Day Festival 19 March. The event runs from noon until 7pm, with these two fantastic performers putting on their show from 5pm until 7pm.

We still have some tables and banner space available, as well as some slots for competing in the Chili Cookoff. I'd especially recommend local restaurants to throw in on the chili cookoff. I know I'd love to throw up a banner saying 2021 CHESTER CHILI COOKOFF CHAMPIONS, if I owned a restaurant, and put that trophy right inside where it can be seen.

We are working to expand and create more festivals for Chester, to build this and other ones, to bring the community together in a fun way, to help local businesses, and to bring a positive atmosphere and opinion about Chester to everyone, but we need your help. We need the support of the community to make this and other events successful, so that they can get bigger and better. What I love most about St. Patrick's Day or St. PĂĄdraig's day , is how it brings everyone together all around the world. The joy, the fun, and all that goes along with this special day is great to share with everyone! The most important part of this day is, for me, everyone coming together and having a good time, and showing joy and gratitude for those that came before us with a message of peace.

Starting at 5pm and playing until 7pm we have the Fiddler and the Flutist performing live at the Chester Event Center. Come on down and get some Irish beef stew, some chili, or some potato soup with ham, a cold beer, or maybe an Irish Coffee and enjoy the festivities!

We're at 111 follows right now. As of now we have about 200 more engagements from advertisements outside of Chester County, than we do people in Chester supporting this. Now I'm all about people from outside of Chester coming here and having a good time, but people in Chester need to support things like this so that we can keep going with more events, and making each one bigger and better than the last. Please like and share. Get more people involved and help us bring life back to Chester, starting with the downtown area. Granted over 300 people during a seven hour day isn't bad for a Chester event, but we can do a lot better. Let's set a goal. Please invite all of your friends within a reasonable distance and let's try to at least match support for this event from people in Chester, with those outside of Chester County. Thank you. Together we can and will be successful, but we must work together. So can we work together to get at least 300 follows on this page? We should be able to handle over a thousand on the day of the event. We still have some time, but the sooner we get things moving the better.
