Please meet Geovany Hernández! One of our most enthusiastic teammates; and one of the best with a knife. Learn more: I started my journey in the culinary & hospitality field at a restaurant downtown Elmhurst. I love being a part of the restaurant business in general. When I met Chef Pat $ Co, it was so exciting to work with this talented Chef, it’s not just working in the company - I also learn valuable skills. One of my favorite dishes was a lamb chop dish with Pat’s red wine sauce. The journey continues. - Thank you Geo for your hard work and full support of the team!

Our meet the team series continues! Meet .dikar!

📍 Hometown: Kyauk Phyu, Rakhine State, Myanmar 🇲🇲
🍳 Favorite memory with Chef Pat: Serving 150 people for the first time in Downtown Chicago with Chef Pat, it was the Grinch theme night party and so much fun. Then he was Driving through the Lake shore drive on the way back home to show me the city 🌃 views and talked about his old times.

Rakhine Mont T (my traditional noodle dish)
🙌 What it’s like working with the team: Working with Chef Pat & Co. has been such a huge part of my growth. I’m learning not just how to cook, but how to plan, organize, cost menus, and think like a chef. It’s not just a job — it’s training for the dream. Plus they treated me like part of the family, never felt like I’m working.
🎯 Goal: One day, I want to open my own restaurant and build something that gives back to my hometown.

Meet Sophia, our very first employee, and take a look at some of her culinary magic! ➡️ “I grew up in Glen Ellyn with a large Puertorican and Italian family who passed down a passion for music and cooking. I had the opportunity to enroll in the culinary program at College of Dupage where I got to work with talented classmates and meet chef Pat, who then recruited me to work for his new catering company the following summer. I then went to work and study abroad in Calabria for a few months, where I learned to make my favorite fresh pasta dishes. Both of these contribute towards my goal of becoming a private chef!”

Happy birthday to us‼️ On this day 3 years ago, the state issued our EIN (yay taxes). Hundreds of events served and celebrated, thousands fed all over Chicagoland, and endless visits from neighbors for leftovers.
