As a Wedding Coordinator, I am truly the point person of the wedding day. I am the point person for vendors, for guests and for the couple. I am also the main contact person. I work closely with you and know your plan on how the day should go. I know the timeline and schedule for all vendors and the venue.
Also, I am what you could call the transition person. For example- transferring the guest from the ceremony to cocktail hour. I move the bridesmaids from the getting ready space to getting to their spot on time. For all of the other transitions that are made on this day, I will ensure all people are moving and the agenda flowing! You will not have to lift a finger, or think about anything that may need to get done next!

One of the questions I receive often is “What exactly is a Wedding Coordinator?” I love this question because it’s an opportunity for me to really express the importance of what I do, and why I do it!

As a Day of Wedding Coordinator, we do just that. I coordinate the details and logistics of plans supporting your venue visit, wedding rehearsal & dinner, and your wedding day to make sure that everything you’ve spent months planning is executed exactly how you’ve envisioned it!

We begin working together 3 months prior to the wedding day, as there is still a lot of work (and hours!) that goes in behind the scenes ahead of time – from multiple consultations with the couple, will review contracts and reach out to vendors. I will create your day of timeline, which will break down all the details regarding arrival times, setup and breakdown, where the bridal party is at all times throughout the day, photo timing, formalities, and more. Then on the day of your wedding, I will be there to actually see it all through!

- Manage vendors and supervision of ceremony & reception setup & tear down

- Assisting the couple, wedding party, your family, and guests and keep the day according to schedule throughout the entire evening

- Acting as the contact person for everyone & anyone with questions, but ultimately ensuring the couple is always my TOP PRIORITY!

Hi there- Wanting to officially introduce myself! My name is Sarah Romano, and I currently live in Chicago with my husband and new puppy! We recently got married in May of 2022 in Key Largo, Florida! We love to spend time with family & friends, and try new ice cream places🤍

Wedding Coordinator is my second job at the moment, but hoping to see where this passion of mine can take me! My love of weddings started at a very early age, and when I was approached from a friend with the opportunity to support her own sister’s wedding and be the day of coordinator, I was honored. She said to me that because of my planning skills, attention to detail, and intentional servant heart, that she couldn’t imagine anyone else to do the job! This is where my passion and love of this service for weddings began!

After planning my entire wedding and hiring a wedding day of coordinator (who I thought at the time would be great), to which she turned out to bring not only stress, confusion, and making me, as the bride, as well as my mom, carry a load of responsibility I never ever should have had on my wedding day. With my own personal experience of being blindsided and disappointed, I truly understood firsthand the importance and critical role that a wedding day of coordinator plays. I made a promise to myself and future brides & their families that I will have the privilege of working with that they could and would never feel that way working with me.
