It’s National Puzzle Day! We use puzzles in our team building activities because they are a great metaphor for teamwork:

A puzzle isn’t complete without each piece of the puzzle, just like a project can’t be complete without each team members contribution. Each person (or piece) must know how they fit in with the team members around them to effectively work together towards the bigger picture.

Puzzles teach us about group problem solving, appreciating different perspectives and strategic thinking. They also help us feel the success as a team upon completion!

This week we ran a 250 person team challenge during a company conference in Rosemont! With 20 teams cycling through 4 different activities, guests put their communication and group problem solving skills to the test!

While there was only one team that was crowned champion of the Team Challenge every single participant walked away with a fun and enriching experience with their peers!

You could hear the laughter and cheers throughout the event as teams solved puzzles and celebrated the successes of working together!

Location, Location, Location! Last week WCF transformed this beautiful lake front park into a company family picnic complete with activities, food, seating and music. Lake Michigan was the perfect backdrop to this summer event! WCF Events works with venues all over the city and suburbs to create custom summer outings for companies of all shapes and sizes!
