This year marked our 4th year producing the Warm & Fed Challenge. In those four years, our participating high schools from across the Twin Cities, have raised 40,756 cold weather & non perishable food items for the Salvation Army North. It's impressive & I'm so humbled that I could lead them on this journey. But none of it would have been possible without those that believed in my vision and supported it from the start. To Amy Nelson and her company Accurate Home Care, thank you. Thank you for your generosity. Thank you for your same enthusiasm to engage and challenge teens to participate in something bigger than themselves. And thank you for your belief in the greater good. It is people and companies like you that outweigh the negativity of today's world. Thank you to Brad Madson and the Minnesota Vikings for the excitement, time and energy that you brought to the challenge each year. For lending your celebrity and brand to a cause bigger than else all. To Jefferson Awards Foundation for helping us engage the high schools and teaching them the value of public service. And to Salvation Army North for being a beacon of light to so many in need. For distributing the items our students collected each year and for lending your army of volunteers to help with the behind the scenes of the challenge. And most importantly - THANK YOU TO THE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS THAT PARTICIPATED! You will probably never meet the person that wore your donated gloves or ate that can of soup - but know that someone out there benefitted from your kindness. Together, we do make a difference. Check out the Minnesota Vikings photo album from our most recent event! On Monday, guests of the Holiday Luncheon were in for a real treat! Not only did they dine privately with members of the Minnesota Vikings during an amazing lunch, courtesy of Avenida Cocina & Bar...but they were part of a very special ceremony! Chad Greenway was presented the 2016 Man of the Year Award. Proving exactly why he is so worthy of the honor, Chad then gifted each of our special youth guests with a $250 gift card to Target! Many thanks to our sponsor, Accurate Home Care and our partners Salvation Army North, Chad and the Vikings for making it such a special afternoon for all the youth and families that attended!

Yesterday JD Style Group hosted a Holiday Lunch in partnership with our friends at Accurate Home Care, the Minnesota Vikings, Salvation Army North and Avenida Cocina & Bar. We brought together families & youth that were most deserving & spread some joy! The whole thing was made possible due to a very selfless act by the LEAD students of Shakopee High School! For the third straight year, Shakopee HS donated the most cold weather clothing & non-perishable food items during our Warm & Fed Challenge. This year they raised over 2,500 items for those in need that Salvation Army serves. The grand prize was supposed to be a pep rally at their school with members of the MN Vikings. Instead, because they have been fortunate enough to have this pep rally twice before, they "donated" their appearance to those in need of some holiday cheer! We were thankful the LEAD students could come celebrate their win yesterday & see the difference their act of giving made. Stay tuned this week as we reveal more moments from yesterday's lunch!
