Sally and I had a great time designing new dresses and show dance apparel for her these past couple of months! We’re very pleased with the latest creation modeled here🤩 There’s one more dress on the horizon, but as you all know, there can never be too many rhinestones, so I’m still working on it. 😉😎

Some of you may know that I began teaching sewing classes at a local homeschool co-op about 4 yrs ago. I had never taught sewing classes in my life! I had no idea they would explode with interest!! My classes and attendance tripled over the 3 yrs I was at this co-op. I discovered a new passion❤️ The kids were amazing and as young as 7 yrs old were stitching on the machine and making their own clothing. ☺️

I’m excited to begin working with the Palatine Park District next month! I’m certain this program is going to grow like a wild flower and we are going to have some sassy fashionistas walking down the streets here!!🤩💁‍♀️

In our Pop-Up Summer Camp, we will make an apron for their fav doll. In the Fall session, we’ll begin at square one, learning all the fundamentals of clothing construction and fashion design.

Kruz, looking super cool again😎 I’m just here to teach him how to make the clothing… he’s actually doing the sewing & realizing the vision.
🤩☺️ He made everything except the tank.
As of right now, his inspiration is coming from some of Vivienne Westwood’s punk couture designs.

“Black Beauty” is looking for a new home!

I love every dress I make, but this one stole my heart🥰 it’s just so beautiful. I love the gradation from black to blue to white. And of course, what’s become my signature (because I love dangly & sparkly), there are dangling stones creating movement and extra shimmer all over. The side is gathered, accentuating the waistline and there is a side zipper, for easy in-n-out.

Bracelets & earrings included!

Fits sizes 4-6, height 5’3” to 5’10”.

My nephew, Kruz, asked me to help him make some pants that he really wanted🥰 and of course I couldn’t say no to hanging out and teaching him what I love to do also!

We had a blast with our first project & and since then he’s been blowing my mind with his creativity and ability to transform fabric into super cool designs!

Here he is modeling the first pair pants we made (he made them, I just instructed) and a shirt he upcycled from a thrift shop! The pants are very cool, but that shirt is awesome!

He’s got “IT”…that gift of innovation & bringing things to life!

A few days ago I came across the sketch for this dress, which I designed almost 15 yrs ago!…
We named it “Beautiful Blue” 💙💙💙
Here it is pictured on its second owner, and I’m happy to know it had such a long life on the dance floor. 🙂
