I know it’s been awhile since I’ve introduced myself, so I’m taking the time to reintroduce myself, for those of you who don’t know me, I’m Tamaka Michelle the Creative Owner and Designer of TM Stephens Events Planning & Design! I’m so excited because we are in a Rebranding phase!
I’ve been a Planner and Designer of Events since 2011 after leaving my corporate job as an accountant in Commercial Real Estate. While working as an accountant paid my bills in a significant way it did not feed my passion and creativity. I always felt something was missing, when the opportunity to pursue my dream job as a planner came I jumped on it and I haven’t looked back since!
1. A few fun facts about me as a Planner and Designer is that I love creating, I can look at something and recreate it, it’s a God Given talent that I cherish!
2. I’ve worked on some of the dopest events that’s taken place in Chicago & NYC I just prefer to be behind the scenes, but trust me I’m there my influence and reach is wide!
3. I’m obsessed with creating and my mind is FOREVER on, I have a wild imagination! Geeze a gift and a curse.
4. I study my industry a lot!!! I take classes, and I have been blessed to have some really great mentors. I’ve worked with some of the best of the best in my industry, I’m a sponge I soak up as much information as I possibly can. I never get tired of learning and reinventing myself.
5. Don’t be afraid to rebrand yourself, I do it constantly, I’m never comfortable, I’m always striving to be the best me for my clients!!!
