Mini sessions!!!! I’ve had several requests so here we go.
When : Sunday October 19th
Where : North Pond in Lincoln Park
What : 30 minute photo sessions. Great for families, couples, dogs etc (6 human limit per session).
Cost : $300

When Chicago gives you wind, you decide to let it be the star. After their elopement ceremony we headed to North Ave for some photos and the wind was pretty wild, but when we turned the right way it was moving the train of her dress so gorgeously I just wanted to capture that movement in a few photos. And this is the result :) Thanks Windy City!

I love it when couples choose to add in stops that are personal to them on wedding day. Tejas and Maya told me they wanted to end our session at their favorite sandwich shop - . So that’s exactly what we did after their city hall ceremony. Wedding day calories don’t count ;)

I can think of no better place to have been Friday than cruising around Chicago on with Juliet and Ryan. The weather was perfection for a night on the water. The city at night is a whole different vibe and sometimes I still pinch myself that I live here and this is my job!

What a wedding filled week I had! And I kicked it off with Katie and Olly riding their down Lasalle street. She told me at the beginning of the session they ride them all over the city and really wanted a photo of them on bikes. I immediately had something like this photo in mind. So after they said I do we went in search of a Divvy stand. We got a few honks and weird stares, but it was so worth it. Congrats to the newlyweds!

Will I ever get tired of this view? Doubtful. There are so many great photo ops in this city but Lasalle Bridge will always be one of my favorite. Growing up in a tiny little town I never dreamed that this would be a view I’d get to enjoy over and over again.
Congrats to Emily and Jason who said I do earlier this month after a romance that spanned the globe!

I think I’m still in holiday mode because I’ve been slacking on my shares here. So much so that I forgot to share these cuties from the end of June! It was a hot one but thankfully we were in and out of city hall pretty quick with plenty of time to explore the city for photos before we all decided we needed AC! Congrats to the newlyweds!

I don’t do a ton of proposals, but this one was so good I may need to do more! It probably helps that Haley was proposing in a spot where I hang out all the time with Walter so I knew it well which helps with my anxiety about proposals haha.
We picked the spot ahead of time, but didn’t plan for it to be 105 degrees. The upside is that we didn’t have to worry about anyone else being in the space because it was so hot!
Bethany said yes and luckily didn’t spot me crewing being a tree!
After a few photos they headed out to continue celebrating with family and friends. Congrats to the newly engaged couple!

I feel like I’ve been living at city hall this month! So many amazing couples and two more this week before we lose the door on June. I can’t believe this year is nearly half over. I’ve still got some prime dates open, especially in August, October and November! Reach out asap!
