Join us during the month of June and celebrate those little pocket monsters!

We will have a Passport Program, filled with fun around the town activities. Pokemon merchandise and prizes. We will even have a special drink, Trainer Juice, offered during the entire month of June!

We have over 30 local businesses who are participating in our Passport Program who will be hosting interactive activities.

Beginning June 1st, stop by Rock Island Candy Company and pick up your passport. We have 500 passports available, so it will be first come, first served. (One passport per family.)

Spend the day, or the month, traveling to each participating business. Complete a fun activity, at their location, in order to get your pages stamped.

Return to the candy shop to redeem your small prize. A drawing for larger prizes, donated by participating businesses, will be conducted for anyone who completes the whole passport book! More information will be provided as we get closer to June.

🌞🌑 Join us for a celestial spectacle today! 🌞🌑Get ready for the solar eclipse with Eclipse Glasses available for purchase at the Downtown Mercantile & Chickasha Visitors Center starting at 10 AM. Each pair is just $3, and proceeds will benefit the Chickasha Community Foundation. Cash preferred.

Then, head over to the Chickasha Leg Lamp for a Solar Eclipse Picnic! Bring your lunch (we put a list of some of our downtown favorites below 😉) and enjoy a picturesque picnic by the leg as you witness the solar eclipse. The event begins at 12:26 PM, with the peak occurring at 1:44 PM and concluding at 3:03 PM.

Bye Paddy! We will miss you! 💚🍀🦵🌈

☘️ Happy St. Paddy's Day, Chickasha! ☘️

As the festivities wind down and the emerald dust settles, we want to extend a heartfelt wish for a joyous St. Patrick's Day to all our wonderful residents and visitors!

Today marks Paddy's last day in Chickasha, and oh, what an incredible journey it's been! She's fallen head over heels in love with this charming town and the warm-hearted people who call it home. From unforgettable encounters to delightful adventures, Chickasha has left an indelible mark on Paddy's heart.

As she bids farewell, Paddy can't help but reflect on the countless good times and cherished memories she's made during her stay. Meeting all of you, sharing laughs, and spreading cheer has been an absolute delight.

Though she's sad to leave, Paddy's spirits remain high as she looks to the future. Who knows? Perhaps she'll return next year to celebrate St. Paddy's Day once again in her favorite little town, sitting proudly atop the Chickasha Leg Lamp and soaking in the magic of Chickasha.

Thank you, Chickasha, for welcoming Paddy with open arms and making her feel right at home. Here's to the memories we've shared and the adventures yet to come! Sláinte! 🌟

What's more nostalgic than a classic Apple pie? Happy National Retro Day! Did you know the first apple pie recipe was printed over 630 years ago in England in 1381. The list of ingredients included good apples, good spices, figs, raisins, pears, saffron, and cofyn (a type of pastry crust).

While we may not know the exact recipe used by Cutie Pies Concession, their apple pie transported us back to grandma's kitchen with every bite.
