Allow me to brag on my crew for a moment…
I’m so grateful for everyone who has pitched in and shared their talents and efforts to transform Christian & Johnson into a Christmas wonderland once again.
Decorator-Kelly, Valeria, Jamie, Denise and Sonya spent hours prepping, hanging, moving furniture, and carefully and thoughtfully decorating every square inch of our gift shop to give our customers a truly beautiful experience as soon as they step through the door!
And Jess… what would we do without Jess? She has single-handedly kept the flower shop running while the rest of this place has been a tornado of Christmas chaos. God bless Jess. ❤️🤣

That’s a wrap on Foraging Season 2025!
I still can’t believe that what really started out of necessity during the Covid shutdowns has turned into a major side-hustle of C&J! I’m so grateful for the wonderful vendors at the San Francisco Flower Market who carry our offerings (especially our friends at Torchio)! I’m so grateful for my crew who helps get everything cut, cleaned, sorted, and ready for the Market. I’m grateful for the creative florists around the country (yes - this stuff gets shipped around the U.S!), who love and use our foragings from Chico. Most of all, I’m grateful for my Dad, ‘Farmer Les,’ who is out there with me every single week, cutting grasses, getting up into the palm-trees with the cherry-picker (and the bees!), collecting feathers, and more. THANK YOU for another beautiful season.

An update on Sabina. ❤️
For the many of you who helped get our friend Sabina, a disabled young woman from a tiny rural village in Kenya, into school for the VERY FIRST TIME IN HER LIFE… she is THRIVING.
THANK YOU for making this possible. We would love to be able to help Sabina continue her new life, physical therapy, and educational opportunities well into the future, so if you’d like to continue to contribute to a ‘Sabina fund,’ we will gratefully get it into the right hands, on the ground in Kenya.
