August 27, 2022. This is a great place to eat, good home cooked food of the south. Eat inside or do call in. They have great catering also. They will work with you on any size group. If it is a small group they can do all the food and you service or if it is a large group, Country Kitchen will serve. Open 8:00 to 8:00, Tuesday through Saturday.

May 10, 2022. Our dinner room is open, come on in. Call us about “all” catering, if there will be a lot of people, we will set up and serve. If there will be quite a few, we can set up and you serve. If there are just 8 or 9 people , we will prepare “everything” and you pick it up at our restaurant.

March 2022. Open each day 8:00 to 8:00, closed Sunday and Monday. Inside dinning or call in. Warm weather is here, call and let us cater. We cater large or small groups, ask us how we can help with the small groups.

July 21, 2021. If you are planning a class reunion, church reunion or a family reunion, check with us. No group is too small or too large. If it is a small group we can prepare the food and you serve the food. If it is a larger group we can prepare the food plus supply servers.

June 29, 2021. We will be closed till Tuesday, July 6 for the 4th of July vacation. We will open at 8 AM on Tuesday, July 6. We are now closed Sundays and Mondays. Keep us in mind for any catering that you might like.

May 25, 2020. Prayers for the whole family of Dorothy Hawley. Dot as most people knew her passed away today Monday , Memorial Day. Dot and her son Johnny own and operate Country Kitchen, 1080 Radford Rd. , Christiansburg, Va. Dot worked for many years at Electro Tech in Blacksburg with my brother Lee. Dot and her husband Bobby started out at the Chicken House Restaurant at the corner of Clearview Dr and Radford Rd. Hall’s Garage doors is located there now. Bobby worked for Roanoke Linen. Roanoke Linen supplied cotten towels on a roll and a machine in each restroom from Roanoke Linen. A lot of businesses had these for years and years. Dot and Bobby then moved to the corner of Radford Rd. and Silverlake Rd where the Lake View Drive In was. They then with the help of their son Johnny built the new building across the street. She was a great lady, and a hard worker , we will miss her. RIP . Share if you would like to honor Dot. I am sure Johnny would appreciate a card if you have time. Glenn
