The growth is crazy! lol. I remember when I first started this business, and probably like every other balloon artist, I was learning things from YouTube university. A video I had watched told me I needed to use 9in balloons along with the other sizes (except 18in, I didn’t discover those until 2023 🫣). I had applied the balloons to this circle arch in quads and the balloons were so skimpy and small looking. But my client loved it, and I did too at the time.

As time progressed and I learned better through additional research and the mentorship from , I knew that when I got the opportunity to, I would take a different approach to this design.

So October 11, 2024 I created this and I am truly so proud of myself. It shows that I didn’t give up, and how dedicated I am to always being better. 💕

This is why I’m so thankful for all of my clients, but especially to those who’ve stuck around since 2022 lol. They get to see and experience the progress with me (we in this together!😂). Oh and to mention, the same client from 2022, rehired me earlier this year 💁🏽‍♀️

Can you guess which one be more stressed? 😰🫠
It doesn’t matter how much I prepare or plan, it’s always gonna be something that just changes my mental on install day lol.
Sometimes it’s as simple as traffic. I’ve had my fair share of times where I got in my car after my install, called my boyfriend and just cried. Now the client will never know and never see this during their services because we professional okay, but it’s happened.
To my artists, remember you are human and it’s okay to make mistakes. We learn from them, adjust and move on. Teach yourself new skills and tricks during slower times and just keep doing your research.
To my clients, remember your balloons artists are human lol. You all get the perfect pictures in front of the perfect balloons, that we put our blood, sweat and tears into. What you see during event day is sometimes only 10-20% of the work that actually went into making everything happen. So if we need to step back to take a quick break or have to make unplanned adjustments, know that it’s for the greater good of your install.
This is not a post to complain, just to shine some light. Take a breath and keep going gurl! 💕🫶🏽💪🏽
