The Search for Hope goes Virtual

The Share the Journey 2020, a Concert for Compassion will be a 2-night virtual concert streamed from Bellarmine Chapel on the Xavier University Campus.

Share the Journey 2020; a Concert for Compassion will take place on Friday, October 16, and Saturday, October 17, 7:00 pm-10:00 EDT

The decision to make this a virtual show immediately expanded opportunities to include more performers and create a larger audience locally, nationally, and internationally. The intention is to make this an entertaining event with a global outreach; during and after the event. Some of the artists already booked include: Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul, and Mary Fame; local Blues performer Ricky Nye; Balladeer Dave Hawkins; Christian music duo, the Pierson-Young Project; Bishop Todd O’Neal and the House of Joy Singers; national performer ValLimar Jansen, and a host of others

Through the joint efforts of Bobby Fisher, Bellarmine Chapel, and the music ministry of the Pierson-Young-Project, Share the Journey, a Concert for Compassion was created in 2018 as a benefit concert inviting local music artists and other entertainers to donate their talents and resources to raise money for organizations that work extensively to serve and assist migrants, immigrants, and refugee families. Thanks to the support from the performers, ticket sales, and event donors, the concert raised nearly $10,000 in 2018 and 2019.
