With architectural renovations designs and construction administration provided Springhouse Architects and construction by Willow Creek Developers & Builders, we’re continuing to make sure The Church on Ninth is completely dried in so its historical architectural features are protected and preserved from the elements. Working on removal of the original slate roof, the last step in protecting our investment from the weather will be replacing the new roofing which should be completed in the next few weeks. With design and construction administration services provided by Springhouse Architects, we are so excited by the next phase of renovations at The Church on Ninth as the craftsman at Nor'wood Custom Glass have begun the long process of restoring the original stained glass windows from the sanctuary. The historic windows have been meticulously removed one bay at a time by Nor'wood Custom Glass, securely packaged, and now transported back to their glass studio.

This was a BIG week. BIG.

We were unanimously approved for both OAQDA and PACE through the City Council.

I've never been involved in any sort of tax abatement project. Getting financial assistance through tax abatement and loans have truly made this project possible. And I have never sat through an entire City Council meeting. I am amazed at the work they do and the tough decisions they need to make.

Thank you for those of you that support these programs. They are an important part of bringing our historic buildings back to life.

Safe, secure, and just the way we like it! A labor of love for Springhouse Architects founder and principal, Sheri Scott, The Church on Ninth is really taking shape. With designs and construction administration provided by Springhouse and construction by Willow Creek Developers & Builders, the new security gates are up and providing a safe and sound environment for our historical church that will soon be a very special, special event center in downtown Cincinnati. It's a spectacular day inside and out The Church on Ninth with the sunlight streaming through the original stained glass windows. We can just imagine the beautiful weddings that will one day be hosted in this historic structure.
