It is hard to find people who care more than those at Miller's Jewelry. I have so many wonderful pieces from them! I got a new addition of Jordan’s ring to my set and within the day they redipped, cleaned, and tightened my wedding ring. We were running behind and they were so kind to wait a couple minutes after closing to get me my set back knowing we don’t live in Bozeman anymore. I can not recommend them enough! ❤️💙💗

I haven't posted on the ranch page for awhile So Kimber and I thought we would demonstrate how to execute four basic obedience commands. "There" - stop where you are and look at me; as well as, "sit", "down" and "aqui" (Spanish for "come" or "here"). Handy commands to know when we are hiking or working cattle.

As a block management ranch, I want to commend and thank those who hunt the 4-R Ranch's Block Management area. We have participated in this program for almost 30 years and I think we have the best hunters! Thank you for watching out for potential problems; for great hunting stories; and for respecting our property and each other. We hope to see you again next year.

Almost to the final phase of our forest health and haz fuels abatement project on McClellan Creek. Last year hand crews thinned 15 acres of lodgepole pine regrowth from the 1988 Warm Springs Creek fire. Now the hundreds of piles left are being burned. It's a bit unnerving but it will be amazing when it's done. A "little" fire is a good thing

We meet the nicest people (and dogs) at the 4-R Ranch & Cattle Co.

This is Volt! He recently won "Owner Handled Best of Show" at the Fall Roundup Cluster dog show in Helena. I think Volt wanted a better chair to sit in so he could enjoy the ranch yard when he and his dog friends were not competing. Volt is an Azawakh sighthound, a breed of dog that originated in Africa and a new breed for me to learn about.

We love it when Volt, his friends and Raven Klone come to stay.

The hop harvest is on. If any of my friends who home brew want some, come and get them. You pick! I'll be picking. Today, tomorrow and maybe Tuesday. What doesn't get shared with friends will go to Lewis and Clark Brewing Company for inclusion in the Neighborhood Brew.

These are 100+ year old vines. The hop cones are small and mild flavor. For all intents and purposes, they areElkhorn hops. Come on up and help me out

I wanted to give a shout out the our 4-R Ranch & Cattle Co. team. We pour are hearts into making sure everyone’s weddings are special and run smoothly.

This means lots of meetings, hours upon hours of gardening around the ranch house, the reception area and the ceremony area. Cutting and gathering hay. Hours of set up and take down, cleaning, ect.

We love it. We love the people we meet, we love the experience we make for people. Our home is special and we hope everyone feels special when they come whether it’s as a couple getting married, a guest or staying at the airbnb.

We look forward to our 2023 season!

Coming down in October!
These trees are 34 years old. They are the regeneration of lodge pole pine from the 1988 Warm Springs Creek fire. In some places there are 4000+ trees to the acre. Needless to say they are a problem. The "natural" thinning process would be fire. But given the fuel load, the proximity to homes on and near the ranch, and the steepness of the terrain, hand thinning is the only way to create a safe and healthy forest. We are very excited for the opportunity to do this work.
