Well, that didn’t turn out like any of us thought. But it was a great season up to that point & it brought everyone together for 1 cause.

More info coming shortly. I’ve had some asking if I was doing the cookies & strawberries again this year so why not add the gift baskets also. Can’t wait for my first Valentine’s here. ❤️

Wow, the 'order gatherers' have been in full force lately. I had 17 calls for them in the last 4 or 5 days. For those that don't know, order gatherers are the online places pretending to be flower shops but aren't. Such as, Just Flowers, 1-800 flowers, Ava's Flowers & many more. These imposters will take your order, then usually take 40-50% off the top and then try to get a local flower shop to fill & deliver the order. Example: You make a $100 purchase through them; they will they take $40-50 right off the top and call a local flower shop & ask them to fill a $50-60 order that would include tax and delivery. So, the order being delivered for you will now only have a value of $40-45. If you order directly from a local florist, your $100 order minus delivery & tax will have a value more in the $80-85 range depending on distance for delivery. Most flower shops refuse to take their orders, because we know that the customer is getting ripped off. It's also pretty similar to the Sympathy Store on funeral home sites, but not at such a high discount. Last I knew the only shops filling those aren't local. So, any order placed through them are being filled from out of town shops. Regardless of where you order, please call or use the website of the local flower shop, they won't be the sponsored ones at the top, so scroll past those until you find one with an actual address.

This week we’re gonna have some fun with the themed Snowfest at Farwell. Roaring 20’s. 50’s Diner, 70’s Disco & the 80’s. Can’t wait to see everything finished & the pics following. Did a little cooler cleaning yesterday & found some flowers that are still beautiful but not at the standard I would use for an arrangement.
I would like to see them going to good homes. So bring in your vase or jar & fill it with some of these beauties for only $5. I have a couple tables set up, so you can create your masterpiece right here. Grab a friend or even bring in the kids. Fun activity & it’s only $5/bouquet. There’s a good variety of flowers & colors available. This offer is only good today thru Saturday or while they last.

Organizing events/workshops for 2025. What are some of the things that you would like to have offered? My goal is for at least 1 per month for me and I'll still offer the space for others to have their events/workshops. Planning to start in January.

Examples of what we did this year: Make & take arrangements, (we did these in vases, special containers & pumpkins) plant BINGO, charcuterie boxes, paint parties (canvas/wood)
