Thank you for supporting my dreams and allowing me to share a little of nature’s beauty with you.

Fresh peony bouquets are now out at the farm table this morning, and we’ll continue restocking throughout the day until sold out.

Mother’s Day peonies, ready to be wrapped and sent from our field to your home. Some are just starting to open into soft ruffled blooms, while others are still tucked in tight and will slowly unfold over the next few days. I love the little hints of buttery yellow tucked between all the blush and ivory tones this week.

Our coral peonies almost have an iridescent glow to them in the light. These are a mix of 3/5 and 5/8 eye root divisions in just their second season here in the field — still young, but already so beautiful. I love how the blooms open in vivid coral tones and slowly soften into the creamiest buttery ivory. They do this in the vase too, which makes watching them open part of the magic.

Their fragrance is softer compared to some of the deeply perfumed doubles we grow, but the color transformation on these makes them unforgettable. Even now, they still have about 3 more years before becoming the full, lush plants they’re meant to be — nearly 5 years from planting to maturity.

A beauty from this afternoon’s field walk.

I spent part of the afternoon tagging misplaced varieties and marking peonies that will need to be dug and lifted this fall, one of those quiet behind-the-scenes jobs that keeps the field improving year after year.
