She may kill me for this, but I can't sit back and do nothing.
If you have been to any of my events, you know that Alex Alford is my right hand co-host, raised together as my little sister. If you know her. You know how much she pours into family and the community, hosting free basketball camps for kids, assisting in the facilitation of annual feeding the community events, giving out gifts to the community for Christmas, giving out school supplies and so much more. Unfortunately, life has hit hard and unexpectedly. Alex, affectionately known to family as Pooh, was a resident in the apartment complex the Standard where over 500 residents lost everything in the most recent hurricane. She was on the 1st floor and lost everything. To add insult to injury, the few valuables that weren't damaged by the storm, were stolen by someone who smashed out her door. The low life even stole 2 cases of water 😡. She is now having to navigate without shelter or a vehicle. I know we are all stretched thin and trying to recover, however, if you are able to assist or donate in any way, I would greatly appreciate it. She is not the kind to ask for help as she is always on the giving end.

Someone asked me what's my favorite part about cupcaking with a twist and besides the fun, I would have to say the diversity in the room..Cupcaking with A Twist is inclusive and fun to all adults from young to more seasoned, all races, all personality types both introverts or those totally outgoing, it's a room filled with people from all walks or life. The room is filled with people that came alone, people having a date night, people reuniting with family and friends, colleagues out for team building, ect. It's amazing to look around the room and know we all have something in common, we all just want to have fun!!!!!!
