Sculpting & Molding making skills & experience a plus.

Cowan Costumes, Inc., a costume character (mascot) manufacturer, in downtown Cleburne is looking for an enthusiastic person that enjoys hands-on work and is passionate about it. Our products put smiles on the faces of all generations!

Candidate must have sewing experience; the ability to read patterns; follow specific instructions to maintain quality and accuracy; have an eye for detail; problem solving skills-theoretical and actual; complete projects in time allotted; self-motivated; punctual; and willingness to think outside the box. Supervisor experience is a plus.

Duties include but not limited to: sewing many different types of fabrics/materials using a variety of industrial sewing machines, cutting various types of fabrics/materials which require standing for long periods of time, and using other miscellaneous equipment related to this industry. The lead will also be responsible for assigning tasks, training, quality control, and coordinating with other department leads and supervisors.

This position will also require traveling up and down stairs occasionally. Candidate must also be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Working hours are Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm.

Basic Function: production of costume character parts
Hours: 7am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday

Duties include but not limited to: operating small and large power tools; vacuum forming; prepping, assembling, detailing character parts using various adhesives and materials; and cutting various types of fabrics/materials which require standing for long periods of time.
Candidate must have eye for detail; problem solving skills-theoretical and actual; and willingness to think outside the box.

This position will be located on the 2nd floor so traveling up and down stairs is a must. Also must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Cowan Costumes in downtown Cleburne is looking for an Administrative Coordinator. This full-time position is for a highly-motivated individual with exceptional organizational, problem solving, communication, and customer service skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office programs and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) are required. Some duties include but not limited to: shipping, invoicing, answering phones, greeting clients and vendors that come in, accounts payable/receivable, data entry, mascot refurbishment processing, material acquisition, general office duties, and general cleaning.
The hours are 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday. Employment to begin ASAP.
